Poem: Life List

“Life List” 02.23.22

“Well first…
I’d like to ride a horse over a mountain in Montana
To see the whole world
From the cherry blossoms of Japan to the red sea in Sudan
I want to eat ravioli in Italy…dammit!
I want everything that everyone else doesn’t
Normal just isn’t gonna cut it..

I want to be unapologetically free
Do whatever I want, when I want
No strings. No rules. No status quo
To be spontaneous, adventurous, go with the flow
I want to always be able to get up and go

I want everything that’s against the odds.
To be love and be loved
Passionately and dramatically.
Tragic love.
Great love.
It’s always been you, love.”
Life-long, like a love song…
Or a movie
You’re the one…”
Nobody thinks it still exists, but I know it does
Because that’s the way I would love
And if there’s one half of me inhabiting this body..
There has to be another half somewhere
Seeking the same soul consuming love affair
Willing to sacrifice the white picket fence to seek freedom

So yeah, if the fates should have it
I’d like to find who my other half is

Anyway, I want to live in the city, by the sea, and in the mountains
Maybe in a boat, or under a tree for a week, then, in a hotel suite
Expand my mind spiritually
Philosophically
Logically….

Write Best-selling books, mostly anonymously…

I want miracles, magic, and a life full of anomalies

I want an extraordinary story..

But, most importantly
By spreading love and speaking prophecy….

I want to change the world.”

“How?”

“One person at a time…”
