THE AFTERMATH OF UNREST

The Aftermath of Unrest is a one-of-a-kind poetry collection/novella. Through a combination of poems, paintings, and short stories; it takes readers on a journey through passing time, the battle of the mind, the lessons of life and finding balance in the chaos of reality.

This incredible and true story is captivating from cover to cover and encapsulates the message: Anything is possible, anyone is capable, and even in the darkest of times, there is hope. The reader is guided through the author's personal experience as she describes her serendipitous experiences before and during the pandemic in New York City.

On one level, a truly unique poetic experience, “The Aftermath of Unrest” by New York City (NYC) poet Natalie Nascenzi weaves language with art and fate. Drawing inspiration from the empty streets of NYC after protests and the effects of the great pandemic, a.k.a. the dtV, the poetic novella tells a story using a combination of poems, paintings, and short stories.

Natalie is a masterful writer who delivers her truth through the intimate details of every day life. Always exploring outwardly to reflect inwardly. A beautiful book [The Aftermath of Unrest], is expertly written, that leaves you questioning much of your own existence in time and space. Highly recommend.
