Some sh*t you probably need to hear...

Whatever you’re wishing for or working for, hang tight, it’ll happen. But if you find yourself in the midst of hopelessness…. I’m here to tell you this: do not lose hope. Hold your vision. Cling to hope, even if it’s the smallest amount. “All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed to move mountains,” or at least, that’s what the bible says. (Don’t worry, I’m not a bible thumper….but this quote is definitely one of the best there is).

It is in the moment that we feel the most hopeless that requires our greatest strength.

Following the decision to not give up and reaching as deep as you can to access that little bit of inner strength you have reserved, that’s when everything begins to turn

First, stop focusing on how far you have to go, and look at how far you’ve come.

Not many people can do what you did. Whatever that is. Whatever life you’ve lived up until this moment, whatever hardship you may have faced––you have always made it through. Right? Right? Ok. So, why stop now?

Although things might not be going so good right now, that’s okay. It will be, sooner than you think. Trust the path. Trust the process. Trust God. Everything is happening as it should. Let go and go with the flow. Things “not working out” is a part of life. Things not working out is always so something better can happen. One door closes, another door opens. One path leads to another. The end is only the beginning. The list goes on and on.

NOTHING GOOD COMES EASY IN LIFE, EVER. So as much as you want to scream, rip out your eyeballs, or jump off a cliff because of frustration, remember what our good friend Tupac said, “Even when you’re fed up, you gotta keep your head up.”

IT’S OKAY TO BE LOST and IT’S OKAY TO BE SCARED. IT’S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY. BUT IT’S NOT OKAY TO GIVE UP.

Go ahead, admit defeat, stare the world in the face and scream. That’s a good thing. You must accept failure and learn from it. Then, get up, and try again and again and again until you succeed

It’s okay to not know who you are, or what the fuck you’re doing. It’s okay to be so afraid of what’s to come, that your bones shake and your heart aches. It’s okay to ask “why me?” It’s okay to feel alone. It’s okay to cry and punch your pillow. It’s okay to wonder why the world is so unfair.

It’s all okay.  It’s okay because every single person you pass by on the street, has felt that way. You’re not alone.

Life is all about testing your limits, breaking yourself down, and building yourself back up again

Take the good with the bad. Appreciate the highs, learn from the lows. Roll with the punches, and rock it.

ABOVE ALL, EMBRACE YOUR FLAWS

Stop hating who you are not and start loving who you are.
Stop hating who you are and start loving who you are not.
Stop hating who you are and start loving who you are.

The great Shakespeare himself stated, “Tis said, the best men are molded of their faults.”

Our flaws are not weaknesses. They are our greatest strengths. We learn from what we are not, to become who we want to be. To become the best version of yourself, you must face what needs to change.

That’s the key.

Embrace who you are, both the good and bad. Embrace what you must change and celebrate what is already great. Once you understand this, you’ll realize that what you can’t change, you can use to your advantage, and what you can change will only make you better.

Remember who you are. You got this.

Love,

Natalie
