Spirituality is Trending

When I was 15, about 4 years into my “spiritual quest,”my brother and I were discussing how in a few years spirituality would start trending. Well folks, the dreaded day has arrived. Tik tok is flooded with tarot readers. The internet is littered with false information. Social media is over-populated with people claiming to be psychics and spiritual teachers. The list goes on and on. The number one thing: spiritual wisdom begins with a journey within the self, further extending into the world surrounding you, eventually drawing you individually closer to source (God, the Universe, ect).

The answer to your existential questions do not lie in the words of others. And FOR THE RECORD, nobody can tell you your future. Reading energy and using it to navigate the way in which your path may flow is possible…but everything changes the moment you make a decision. Some sage advice: Take extreme caution with all forms of divination.

The “trend” has blended into the pop-culture. But let’s get it all straightened out..spirituality is NOT flipping cards to find out when your “soulmate” might show up. (Don’t even get me started on the term “twin flame.”) It’s NOT reading horoscopes and being well-versed in astrological charts. It’s most definitely not usernames like “Empress 101” and “Seer of the Souls.” It is not foretelling the future or crystal balls. Hell, now a days, it’s not even meditating. It’s so crowded that even the higher frequency has been polluted.

Sacred information is commercialized through social media and misused. Websites are littered with fake news and misinterpreted information. Stop believing everything you hear. Better yet, go within before you go without. The bits and pieces of this spiritual information are somewhat true, but if you’re serious about accessing that knowledge, you have to seek it out for yourself.

You have to commit to a long, lonely journey of facing yourself, finding yourself, and ultimately transcending yourself.

A real “spiritual journey” is beautiful, intimate and intense….

And….the worst possible thing you will experience. An “awakening” (as the little spiritual kitties like to call it) is not fun. First, the moment of truth happens. The moment you discover that everything you thought you knew, means nothing. You know nothing. Reality crumbles. After the weight of that realization finally settles…it’s time for the good part……

The universe kicks your ass. Not gently but mercilessly. You will be forced to face your demons again and again. Demons you didn’t even know you had. You will be tested by the past, present, and future. You will have to learn your lessons over and over, each time harder than the last. You will have to clear out A LOT of karma, which is inherently extremely painful. You will question your existence and your sanity. You will lose a lot of people. Mostly, everyone actually. You will cry more tears and face more challenges than ever before. By this point in the journey, you won’t care if Mercury is in retrograde or if the planets are aligned. You’ll be so f*cked up that nothing makes sense except what you ate for breakfast.

The dating pool drys up, because suddenly, sex is pointless without a purposeful connection. It’s not worth it to entangle your energy with someone else. Most people are no longer a vibrational match. So yes, sex becomes….celibacy (that is, until you find a spiritual/vibrational match…then it’s less energy draining and more fulfilling as a sacred exchange of sexual energy).

You lose your sense of belonging with the world and solitude becomes a way of life. People and energies are hard to handle except for when you’re helping them. After all this, you’ll begin to hear, see, smell, taste, and dream unimaginable information and receive spiritual insights….which will (like everything else aforementioned) have you questioning your sanity.

Congratulations! You’re woke!

But wait! There’s more! Why? Well, “spiritual awakenings” don’t just happen once…they happen over and over and over and over. You’re always learning, growing, and healing.

Once you choose to truly embark on the spiritual quest—there is no going back. The world as you know it ceases to exist. Your purpose moves away from the self and becomes the responsibility of helping other humans to ascend to a higher frequency. When you reach that level, it’s no longer an individual conquest for finding the answers to life’s existential questions… It’s a job to help others make the journey too. Have respect and commit.

Though…even with all that… it’s worth it in the end.

You’re the closest to God than you’ve ever been. (Source, universe, creator, etc..) You understand the truth and the universal laws that govern us. You get to help people. You gain access to the real divine wisdom that everyone is pretending to know about. (Basically, the ability to “know” stuff that you probably never thought you’d ever know.) You’re irreversibly tapped into divine energy and it’s blissful. Truly. You’re a sel-aware, enlightened, teacher of souls.

None of this is given…it is earned.

You are tested and crowned—but only after the hardest lessons are experienced and overcome. You develop strength, courage, and wisdom beyond your wildest dreams….

You understand the masquerade…(see my other post)

And you become a silent spiritual warrior….
