Welcome to the grand masquerade, where the two forces have been dancing together on the same ballroom floor—surrounded by humanity, the oblivious attendees of the celebration. Evil has always expertly masked itself in a well-preserved veil of what is perceived as “good.” A ravishing dancer and an eloquent trickster. The master con artist. It preys on the weak-minded, like a phantom, hiding in the shadows and stepping out for a single moment, just to lure you in. It is hidden in our materialistic desires, our relationships, social media, and our means of living. There is a delicate balance of existing with both good and bad virtue, a balance that we must protect. The equilibrium of these fates is how the universe is maintained. “Good” understands this, “bad” wants nothing more than to tip the scales in its favor. War rages on. A war we are losing.

The basic concepts that serve as the foundation of spirituality are exploited and used by those who are not using them with proper intention, thus allowing evil to sneak into the sacred space of the divine plane—almost unnoticed. We are outnumbered. In the absence of such good, evil ensues. The masses lose faith, hope, and trust in the universe. Tragedy beckons. The world is overrun by the wicked and most actions are fueled by hatred. There are no rules. People turn away from God and towards a meaningless life of self-gain.

The rhythm of the universe is lost. For the people at the masquerade ball, they are no longer able to dance. The wonderful celebration comes to an end….

The party-goers stop and remove their masks…only to discover they’d been dancing with the devil all along.
